OUT AND ABOUT
    IN THE AIRE VALLEY

In the City of Bradford visit the thriving shopping centre, the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television, with the Imax, the largest screen in Europe, and the industrial Museum, where you will find the 'Horses at Work' and see how raw wool was converted into the finest cloths.

RICH IN HISTORY

Visit Saltaire village and Salts Mill, see the David Hockney exhibition and discover the history surrounding the philanthropist Sir Titus Salt. Take a trip aboard the Water Bus from Saltaire to Bingley to view the famous Five Rise Locks.

Along the valley from Bingley is the busy town of Keighley where you can visit Cliffe Castle Museum or take a nostalgic journey by steam along the Worth Valley Railway to Haworth.

A PLACE TO EXPLORE

Absorb the history of the Bronte Parsonage and church and enjoy the breathtaking sites of the bleak Haworth Moors.

Haworth also has various craft and antique  shops and cafes selling traditional home-made Yorkshire produce.

Take a trip further down the valley to visit Skipton, the Gateway to the Dales.  Browse around the open street market, take a look at  the shops, visit the Castle, or take a ride on the Embsay Steam Railway.

IN ALL SEASONS

This is just a taste of the exciting and stimulating activities the Aire Valley has to offer. You wont be disappointed.
